The Faculty of Engineering at the University of Southern Denmark invites applications for an Associate Professor position in Power Electronics with strong interest in high-efficiency Bi-directional Wireless Power Transfer and high-frequency magnetic design at the Centre for Industrial Electronics (CIE), Sønderborg. The position will be at the rank of Associate Professor and preferably have a starting date of January 1, 2027. The appointment is permanent.

- Conduct high-impact research and publish in leading journals
- Secure external research funding (EU, national, industrial)
- Develop and lead research projects and collaborations
- Teach BSc and MSc courses in power electronics
- Supervise MSc and PhD students
- Contribute to innovation and industry engagement

- PhD in Electrical Engineering / Power Electronics
- Strong publication record in IEEE journals
- Proven track record of research funding acquisition
