In connection with our activities in therapeutic drug monitoring using Surface Enhanced Raman Spectroscopy (SERS), we are looking for a PhD student to work with SERS on complex biological samples, with the aim to develop novel ways of sample pre-treatment. In collaboration with the Copenhagen University Hospital, we will target the detection of a variety of small molecules like drugs. We offer a highly creative, collaborative, and ambitious work environment. This project will be part of the IDUN section, led by Prof. Anja Boisen at DTU Department of Health Technology. IDUN is a highly cross-disciplinary research section with over 50 members that focuses on the development of micro and nanotechnology-based sensors, detection systems, drug-delivery devices, and energy materials.Responsibili...

Are you passionate about advancing cancer research and developing innovative immunotherapeutic strategies? This PhD project offers a unique opportunity to explore the role of HERV-derived antigens in shaping T-cell responses in cancer. By investigating how HERVs influence T-cell activation, immune escape mechanisms, and tumor immunogenicity, you could contribute to identifying novel targets for T-cell-based therapies, including personalized cancer vaccines, TCR-engineered T cells, and checkpoint blockade combinations. If you are excited about making a significant impact in the field of cancer immunotherapy, why not apply for this position and be part of groundbreaking research? By joining this research, you will:Gain expertise in tumor immunology, T-cell biology, and immunotherapy developm...
