Within the project “Silicon carbide photonic integrated circuit (SiCPIC)”, funded by the European Union’s Horizon 2020 Research and innovation Programme under the Marie Skodowska-Curie Grant Agreement No.  101227010 , at DTU Electro, the Technical University of Denmark, we are seeking a candidate for a PhD position to research generation of optical quantum states, specifically photon pairs and entangled photon states in waveguide devices based on silicon carbide material. The overall aim is to demonstrate devices for application in quantum communication. The PhD student will participate in an international team in an EU-funded Doctoral Network project called SiCPIC.
